Mustangs beat Silsbee in the first 20 minute segment 28-18.

Remember them playing Central extremely tough in Katy at regionals the year the Jags went to State.  They are usually really solid.

And I still believe that Central team wins it all that year if Toe Toe doesn’t get injured in the first quarter against Kimball.

had 8 point so in the first 3 minutes. No answer from Kimballs post players. Nijal had an epic performance though.

Yates vs Kinkaid at 5p (prolly get there at 530)

Cy Falls vs Katy Tompkins right after that, then

Sam Houston vs College Park

Those are not scrimmages. That is the season openers for those teams. Beaumont Central will be playing.

Yep.  Central better come ready to play.  Ike has a nice squad this year.  I think I’m going to try to get over there in time for that game.  Anyone know how big the Campbell Center is?   Will seating be an issue?

I can walk to Ike. It's that close.  I may have to catch a few of their games this season.  I think they have a set of twins playing for them.

First scrimmage of the year tomorrow at Nederland! Barbers Hill at 6, Ned at 6:45.

WOS beat PNG in a four period running clock game. Then PNG won the two "live game scenario" OT style 4 minute periods. WOS has some kids that can shoot the ball, look out for them to make a run. As for PNG tough district

Barbers Hill, LC-M, Nederland 3 way scrimmage schedule for today:

4:30pm Barbers Hill vs. Nederland

6pm  LC-M vs. Barbers Hill

6:45pm LC-M vs. Nederland

I haven't paid much attention to Eisenhower HS in the 2 decades I've lived in this area.  Before there were not many parks and places where the children can run hoops in this area.  I think the police & civic leaders are afraid if they put up basketball pavilions the thugs will hang out there.  Theres some credence to that, but still  the kids need to play somewhere.  

A year or so ago They put up a boys club in the area, over W Montgomery & Gulf Bank.  The rise in Ike's b ball team is probably closely tied to that.  They still need more parks in this area.
