He made it a point to say he lived in a $300K home, while his brother lives in a $30K home.  I guess you can draw your own conclusions.

That doesn't mean his brother is struggling. He might be doing well since his house note is cheap. Maybe he has more disposable income. My house cost only 180,000. I have a friend whose house cost 270,000. I am doing better financially

They tend to forget they take their business out of country to avoid paying outrageous taxes.  And jobs go with them.  The Dimtard way: tax, tax, tax!!

And in this case all they would have to do is move their money, not even a business.

The sheep seem to think the fed gov has more right to someone’s money than those that actually earned it.

See, even you can prosper in a capitalistic society. Keep pushing your lefty agenda and you will be eating dirt like the rest of us. At least it will be "equal" dirt. You can't brag about being better off in a socialistic government, ask Venezuelans. Everyone is like a box of Pringles.

You should be ashamed. Your ignorance is expected.

Those tax breaks really worked during Bush's tenure. The economy was booming, we didn't have a recession. It was all good. Some people will never learn.

I had to stop reading when the author claimed that social welfare programs have "lifted people out of poverty". What a joke. Where do you find these authors? And more importantly, why do you feel the need to spread their propaganda to others?

*Gasp*. Really?  I have read comments that people on this forum have posted that stated that people on welfare "are making a killing". I knew better. Do you finally see the light or are you bring double minded?

Please restate in English, or something comprehensible.

And TxHoops has a little word that describes your posts. I'll wait for him to unleash it on you.

Check out the annualized GDP rate for the last 3 quarters based simply on fewer regulations and anticipated tax cuts.  It exceeds 3%, something that NEVER happened in the last administration.

Can you tell me what caused the crash...and who was saying all was well while the Bush administration was throwing up red flags.

You are right, some folks will never learn.

That is B.S.  There are more white people who get assistance. I don't believe it, but if 82% of black people get assistance, the number of white people  " on the system" probably still outnumber them.

In denial.  Drive to Port Arthur OR drive to the sec 8 housing in Beaumont  LOOK AROUND AND COUNT BLACKS vs WHITES  It is a FACT    That is the reason Port NEches did not allow the Sec 8 apartments to be built on 8th Street last year.

    • Lufkin wins this game, maybe not 56-7, if they don't it would be the biggest upset of the year..  West Brook is playing at home and Lufkin is coming off the big win over BH, and the Bruins have had two weeks to prepare. The travel won't bother Lufkin, because they've traveled forever as a program. It's hard for some in metro areas to realize that where travel to games for them could be less than an hour to games.  Lufkin has already traveled to Texarkana 3 hrs to play Little Rock SW (W 57-12) and 1.5 hrs to Tyler (W 39-27) .  This one is no problem either. The head scratcher in the WB schedule is they played a close game against Eisenhower, then barely beat Lumberton and lost to Silsbee.  Something is not quite right when a 5A DI program barely beats a 4A DI school Lumberton and then loses to a 4A DII Silsbee.  Just saying Lufkin, PAM, BH and Ball win those two games by several scores and sit the starter after the half.  Lufkin will be without a few starters again this week, LB, WR, QB and maybe a RB.  Thankful the team has depth this year.  Looking forward to off week after Friday to get healthy. Anyway this could easily be a let down game for Lufkin if they are not careful, I think they already know this and are preparing for that not to happen.
    • It doesn’t bother me. If there is a particular threat I don’t want to read I just don’t click on it.. I’ve seen game threads in the past that were very active get locked in the interest of “moving on to the next game”.. I never understood that. Is there a specific thread limit for the SETX Sports platform??
    • I'll be at this game. So looking forward to this one.
    • Frustrating watching LCM's screen/short passes sailing over the top of the receivers. I thought Fuller ran the ball great when called upon. Other than the broken coverage Vidor scored on, I thought LCM's Defense looked good against the Slot-T, especially if you think about the amount of time they were on the field.
