LaVar Ball withdraws his son from UCLA, without him having played a game.  What a way to teach your kid to take responsibility for his actions.  He better be careful what he does, or nobody will want his kid, so they don't have to deal with the headache that is Daddy Ball.  Also, seems like the Lakers are getting tired of his schtick as well.  They are enforcing rules about where family can give interviews, and where they can wait on players to come out of locker room after games.

A pretty good double header tonight on ESPN2

Texas at VCU at 6pm

Shaka goes back to VCU for the 1st time. VCU should be in the running for an A-10 title and a tourney bid.

#7 Texas A&M at Arizona at 8pm

Ags vs one of the most talented teams in the country.  Az was ranked #2 until they lost 3 straight.  This game was circled on the calendar from the beginning of the year, but lost some of its luster.  It still will be a tough road game with Az’s loaded roster.

Could the Zona game for A&M be considered a "trap" game?

I don’t think it’s a trap game.  This has been one of the top games on the schedule since the schedule was released.  Arizona may win, but it won’t be because A&M is overlooking them.  The whole country knows how talented AZ is.

This guy will drafted #2 overall and is a grown ass man at 7’1”.

This is the hidden content, please

*Side note- Ayton and Marvin Bagley played HS ball together for a year at Hillcrest Prep in Az   Can you imagine that front line in HS?  They would start at 4 & 5 for most NBA teams right now and will most likely be drafted #1 & #2 this year.

Miami is overlooked in the ACC. Bruce Brown and Lonnie Walker. Remember those names

There is no conference where it is easier NOT to be overlooked than the ACC.  Win in that conference and you will get deference like no other.  And rightfully so.  The ACC is basketball is in actuality what the SEC thinks it is football.

Miami should move up a little with everyone losing last week.  Their schedule hasn’t been that great which is why they aren’t ranked higher.  Miami’s signature win so far was over an overrated Minnesota team that has lost 3 of their last 4 games.  Conference play should be good.

@no-look a little birdie told me that aggy got axed by the Jacks at Reed today in a scrimmage.  Kevon Harris apparently went off.

Saw that. Harris is a player!  Saw where TJ Holyfield didn’t play. Injury I guess. Heard that the Jacks point guard Aaron Augustine was injured in second half.  John Comeaux is out for the year with an injury.  Maybe they can stay healthy

Aggies are not going to be good. Gilder, Flagg, and Starks are good, but no supporting cast. If Davis and Hogg would have been smart, and waited one more year, their draft stock would have no doubt risen. Especially Hogg’s. And this team would have had a chance to be very good.

Agree both should have returned.  Argued with Aggies last year when they were trying to tell me Hogg would be drafted last year, possibly first rounder.   He can’t guard his shadow.  Going to have to become very elite shooting to have any shot at the NBA.

I agree, look how one year helped Justin Jackson out. He returns, wins a national title, and goes first round. Although I think he’s a much better player than Hogg.

Hogg checks every box for what you look for in a NBA guard except for the whole playing in the game part.  He should have come back to school, but Not sure it would have helped his effort level. Those are the players that are the most frustrating.

Except being athletic, being able to defend his position or any position for that matter (in an almost strictly man-to-man league), and having any motor whatsoever.   He does check the “tall for his position” box and “can shoot it a little” box.   So if those two things are every box, then you would be correct.
