With The Barbay Brothers running the show can they get the Bulldogs pass the 3rd round and on to state??

It's not Gilmer they have to worry about, it is the Pleasant Grove Hawks.

These two teams will be mirror images of each other when they meet in the 3rd round.

Both will run the Wing-T offense, and run it well, and both teams will play aggressive defense. Should be one heck of a game.

Pleasant Grove is probably the current favorite to get out of the region.  That's who Jasper will get round 3 assuming they get there.

I don't think it will be a blow out by any stretch of the imagination, Atlanta is a good football team and they have started putting it together, especially on offense.

But, Atlanta struggled with Pleasant Grove, and Jasper is very similar on both side of the ball.

No question.  I’m just simply justifying my answer to the question asked at the start of this thread.  Bottom line..Jasper will have to make it through some pretty good football in order to get out of the region.  Reg 2 is a little tougher than the rest of them top to bottom.

No.  Not this year.  

We played them, and based on what I saw, they're a good team... a really good team.  But they're just not a great team.  i think they'll be playing on Thanksgiving weekend, but the bus will stop then.
