The Newton Eagles begin their journey toward a Class 3A, Division II state championship tonight as they take on the Arp Tigers in bi-district play.  W.T. Johnston's Eagles, 9-0 on the season, finished the regular season as the 10-3A-II District Champs while Arp finished 9-3A-II as the #4 seed.

The winner of this game will face the winner of the Rice/Bruceville-Eddy bi-district game, which is also being played tonight.
