The Newton Eagles look to take one more step in their quest for a Class 3A, Division II State Championship as they take on the West Rusk Raiders in this Region III semifinal!  W.T. Johnston's Eagles, 11-0 on the season, reached this round with a 58-0 win over Arp in bi-district play followed by a 65-11 win over Rice in area round action last week. 

Meanwhile, John Frazier's Raiders, 10-1 on the season and champions of District 9-3A-II.  Reached this round with a 42-7 bi-district win over Corrigan-Camden followed by a 35-0 win over Buffalo.

The winner of this game will face the winner of the Garrison/Waskom semifinal.
