Coming from a team captian in the locker room! Not from some disgruntled TJ alumni! Absolutely no reason to be disgruntled. Must have hit a sore spot. Don’t know too many from 89-91 but I do know for FACT between 95-99 it was going on. Are you so stupid to think it went on in your own locker room? Seen it with my own eyes. Not some hear say crap!! 28-5 ring a bell in 91?

No sore spot hear, I just like it when people speak out of both ends and say it is a fact, when it is not a fact! You yourself have already proven that your statement is not fact! And no I don’t remember 28-5, I remember 28-7 in 1991 to start the season off. Still don’t have your facts correct!

Maybe draw a scrub and get bounced in the 2nd? Shoot man - I personally love a hard nosed, physical running game paired with a stout defense. But if it ain't in the cards, it ain't in the cards. I'd like to think Coach Faircloth wants to do everything he can to win a football game with the talent he has by putting kids in the best position to win. I don't know the mind of the man, but I can assume he wants to do the best job he can doing it his way. Unrelated: Another observation I've made the last couple of years is that the upstart schools (Manvel, College Station, Summer Creek, Dawson...etc) have had a ton of success very early on with little to no tradition. Guess there's something to being the shiny, new object in the store...idk.... Why does putting athletes on both sides of the line equal 5-5? It may not necessarily make you 5-5, but you’re limiting yourself to being above average at best on either side. I’m a fan of hanging your hat on one - doesn’t make me right. I’ve seen local teams for years take the 5-5/6-4 one and done route. Just my opinion from observations

Just cause you see TJ doesn’t mean I didn’t hang with some pn guys thru high school. It was more prevalent from mid to late 90’s but I can assure you it happened in 91. I can put names and locations if you’d like me to! Be careful what you wish for cause you might just get it
