They are considering our last two weeks of play , Mexia slowed us down and Madisonville played us close ( if you look at scores only ) . But I’ll take a 9 point win and play next week .

In a heart beat.

When you guys see me with a purple Newton Eagle's shirt on, please welcome me. I'm rooting for you guys. I just don't own a WOS shirt, otherwise, i may consider wearing it. Then again, i'd probably leave the purple on. Let's both be playing at the same stadium in two weeks!!!

Nothing wrong with that. Go ahead and wear your Newton gear so we will notice and give you some thanks and WO-S appreciation.

You are welcome in the crowd with a toga if you wish.  However, don't you have a very important appointment about the same time in Lufkin?

Agreed. I do like the idea of bypassing downtown and 610 may be sufficient to do that.  My plan would be to hit 610 north by the Budweiser plant take it around and climb on the HOV when you get to I-10 on the west side.

However, going on Grand Parkway is not the way I would go.

Well, hate to be a realist here but it’s a game on the complete West side of Houston and on a Friday. Not really a good way to go. More of a “lesser pain” route! Lol!!! I agree though, I10 would probably be the worst choice here....

I live in Houston and won't get off in time to make it to Lufkin. Therefore, i figured i would go check out the Mustangs.

I can't disagree with that.  No matter what route you take, you will encounter slow traffic.

Personally, I think the best plan is to stay home and listen to Gary.

Trust me, you will be by far, not the only person without Navy Blue on. WOS fans and players love to see the support from other local teams! I bet there will be a bunch of other purple there but just with an Indian Logo, not an Eagle....WOS fans are beyond hospitibal toward their local friends!!

Salado is Coached by Alan Haire. He’s no slouch and will have his team prepared. He’ll watch all the games WOS has played vs. slot-t teams and adjust. Watch out, Eagles may pull this one out!! I’m calling an upset. Mark it down!!

No it's not going be an upset believe that not going happen kid

Yep , some of my PNG buddies want to ride with me. Me and my brothers used to fight each other, until an outsider stepped in, then it was a unified front. Same with southeast Texas football fans, hope to see Newton along with WOS in a couple of weeks in Arlington.

I hope you guys find the quickest and safest route to the stadium.

I don't think there is a quick way. I'm toying with just staying home and listening to Gary on the radio. Really want make my mind up probably until Friday.

Well, if you had a truck(or maybe you still do) i would say make them ride in the back the whole way!! Lol!! Just kidding! Or just borrow Josh’s truck. Haha

Even on other forums, WOS is predicted by 18+ points and most agree WOS  knows how to defend Salado's offense. If WOS is healthy and plays all four quarters like Coach T preaches, then WOS should win but anything can happen.
