You should've had flood insurance. I guess you are irresponsible.. Can you afford it?

If you are not in a designated flood plain, you are not required to have flood insurance.  Doesn't have anything to do with affording it.  Can you afford health insurance without relying on obamacare, or were you abusing the system?

I have a job, so I get my Insurance through them, but I don't have a problem with people getting coverage off of the exchange ,and I don't care if they get a subsidy.i once used the exchange for insurance, in a time of need. You guys constantly bash people who get assistance, but it is okay when you need it.  I don't live in a flood zone. My insurance costs  450/year. If a person didn't have insurance, they should've pulled themselves " up by their bootstraps" as you Republicans love to say. Isn't that what you guys think?

Mine was a one shot Johnny during a time of need. I hadn't worked in over a week. It is not and has never been a way of life. Now, sit on that and rotate.

Correction:  Those who are "bashed" are those that take advantage of the system and abuse it on a daily basis rather than someone who experiences a once in a lifetime catastrophe.

Or has a real disability.  That's what libs don't understand.  Conservatives are, by far, more quick and generous to help those needing help, especially a hand up.  It's the generations of lazy, no accounts who live their whole life at the Govt. trough, but are physically able to work, but won't.

Like FEMA Assistance is not a right

Regarding Healthcare or any other program that money is given out:  No -- you do not have the right to take my money.  Just like I don't have the right to come into your house and take anything I want.  Just because someone in Government "passes" a law does not make it right when they do it.  This is the difference between Socialism and Capitalism.  Capitalism/Constitutionalism  -- I'm in control of myself.  Socialism -- someone else is in control of me.  Just thinking about it logically -- which is better?!  But, going back to the first part, stealing is stealing, no matter how one packages it!
