The Newton Eagles look to capture the Class 3A, Division II Region III title tonight as they take on the Waskom Wildcats!  W.T. Johnston's Eagles, 12-0 on the season, took the road to this game with a 58-0 win over Arp in bi-district play followed by an area round win over Rice 65-11 and a 21-7 regional semifinal win over West Rusk.

Meanwhile, the Wildcats, 9-4 on the season and the #2 seed out of District 9-3A-II, reached this round with a bi-district win over Hemphill 42-18, followed by a 42-18 win over Hearne and a 57-28 regional semifinal win over Garrison.

The winner of this game will face the winner of the Boling/Lexington Region IV Final, which is being played tonight in Brenham, next Friday night at 7:30 pm in a Class 3A, Division II State Semifinal at Texan Drive Stadium in Porter.
