Schools dropping classification: Lumberton, Orangefield

Schools dropping divisions for football: Silsbee, Kountze, West Hardin

And PA Memorial is on its own again in 5A-D1 like expected

To the best of my knowledge, 8 won't be a requirement. A 6-team district is likely with Navasota as the wild card. Depends what the UIL does with them.

How do we compete with that in 6A? Even I can find 22 football players out of a pool that large.
