So Kountze goes down to 3A-2.

10-3A-2 loses Crockett (Crockett up to 3A-1) and maybe Garrison. Garrison was on the bubble and if they loses 2 kids, which I think they will, they will go down to 2A-1

Kountze will probable be in 10-3A-2

I hope that Jasper doesn't go north again. I love the idea of being in the SETX district again with WOS and Silsbee. No disrespect to the other three teams, of course. That would be a great district.

this will be interesting to see what uil does for all sports. but especially football a district of Atascocita, North Shore, and Westbrook? That would be some good football but tough on any of the other schools. it would basically be a 5 or 6  team playoff for one spot depending on who they add. I don't see how they cant add Humble. Yet where else would they send Westbrook and new Ozen/central Central/Ozen school?

I think the central/ozen situation wont be a factor until next realignment.

I thought uil gave them till January to decide? wouldn't that put the new school into realignment for the next two years or did I get bad info? I could be wrong about it I live in Humble so not sure.

@WOSgrad yes, your understanding was correct but this UIL rule could extend that period a year.

There is quite a bit to figure out & plan, not sure its a quick easy decision for any school district to make and get done in 1 year
