After that article and some phone calls, I don't think the merger will take place for the 2018-2019 school year.

For the sake of their football team only, they needed to drop or for the merger to occur.  In anything else, they hold their own.  Just not getting the kids to turnout for football.

No offense...but yeah no kidding they're looking forward to it.  A drop in classification ALWAYS results in the ability to be more competitive.  UIL makes a lot of winners and losers based on that number they decide on.

WH will beat Sabine Pass and possibly Colmesneil.  The only difference is that now they will be district wins instead of preseason wins.  Which...by the way...there go your preseason wins because there’s no one left you guys can beat.  Burkeville is going 6 man.

okay so district 21 6 A will still have to add Humble and possibly Westbrook. I think my wildcats are in for a tough time. After going 1-7 in 5A last year we basically just became the GCM of the district. if this is how they put it togather.
