Okay how about this:

Global Warming is a natural process that has occurred over the course of Earth's history.

The advancement of Man has sped up the process to some degree, but that, in itself, is also a natural part of life.

Stop bringing logic into this discussion! ;)

Should we spend trillions of dollars trying to reverse or even change a natural part of life? If so, would these trillions spent make one iota of a difference? Should we study the cause and effect of such efforts before throwing money at a theorized solution to a problem that is not even defined? Oh wait, I can't ask these questions. The science is settled and I should just hand over my wallet and go live with the Amish.

There it is...that's all us deniers have be saying for years.

That, my MMGW supporters, would be science.

For me, no. I would let some nerdy guy in a white short sleeved button up sit in a room and figure it out. I would give him a chinese food take out voucher per day and let him dig in. Maybe once a year fly him to the North Pole and check on things. But no, I would not be for dropping a Trilly on this thing.

I think that is what most of us "deniers" are saying. Let's figure this thing out before committing a whole lot of money that might or might not be useful. The problem is when we say things like this, we get labeled with all kinds of cute little words that are in no way flattering. In fact, some are trying to make us into criminals just for asking obvious questions. I have read many stories of people losing their job for having the audacity to simply question the MMGW theory. Skepticism is the driving force of science, but the MMGW nazis want to stifle any modicum of perceived dissent, and simple little questions definitely qualify in their minds.

Part of it is our communication with each other. We gotta stop letting it get contentious and even personal. We gotta find common ground and go from there. Not just on this topic, but on almost all of the ones on this board. BigGirl and that group do the same, but we gotta do better at communicating as well, or nothing gets done.

I have tried, oh have I tried. You two are like my two boys (Aggie vs Longhorn) at freaking Thanksgiving. (when they still played).

Who is the Aggie? Don't you dare put that moniker on me. :)

Agreed.  I may disagree with Eng on some issues, such as this one, but he doesn’t deserve that!

Smh.  Poor Reagan/Smitty.  Thanks again for unintentionally posting data that means the exact opposite of what you think it does.

Don’t feel bad though.  Ms. Prestigiacomo apparently has a job writing and she has no clue either.  This is the stuff of FB and social media that gives me a good laugh every time the temperature drops.

Here you go pal.  Some light reading so you won’t fall for the dumbarsery they publish on daily wire.

The Man-Made Global Warming nazis have managed to convince people you can have your cake and eat it too.

It's too hot outside - Man-Made Global Warming

It's too cold outside - Man-Made Global Warming

It's a very mild winter - Man-Made Global Warming

It's a very harsh winter - Man-Made Global Warming

The hurricane season was almost as bad as the 1930s - Man-Made Global Warming

Hillary lost the election - Man-Made Global Warming

Does that about sum it up?

Do you get the same gut-wrenching chuckles every time you read some Man-Made Global Warming nazi writing about Polar bears starving due to MMGW? What about the nutcases that attribute every weather pattern to MMGW? What about every photo of Earth's ever changing scenery attributed to MMGW? There are many more instances of these, which should keep you in stitches for the rest of your life.

I recently saw a documentary (on NGO I think) about Antarctica.  On one side of the continent they showed massive chunks of ice falling into the ocean.  But they also said on another side, the ice was building up at about the same rate.  If we could get the scientists off the OWGovt. Teat attempting to prove a preconceived OWG conviction, maybe they could try to ascertain if perhaps the earth has wobbled off its axis, which, I'm guessing, would affect the weather.  It would also explain why my G'son is not making 100% of his threes :)

My bad Eng.  I’m in a bad mood this morning lol

I'm in a pretty good mood after last night's game. It would have been a lot sweeter if the opponent would have been one of the other former Big12 teams (and I'm not referring to Nebraska or Colorado).  Too bad the SEC is too scared to even dare allow that matchup. If you don't feel like "debating" right now, this post should get PhatMack on the warpath. Oh wait, this is the political forum...he and I are on the same side. I'm not venturing to the College section. Y'all are brutal over there.

I was elated as well pal.   I like you on both boards but for some reason a smidge more over there.  And I’m much more passionate about college athletics than politics.  Yes, I’m part of the problem :D
