True. But I believe the refs missed the spot of the ball. HP recovered ball right at the 50. Feet came down around 48. Refs placed ball down at the 45. Ball is a dead ball upon recovery. It cannot be advanced forward on an onside kick. 

But at the end of the day, Manvel didn’t appear to even try and make a play on the ball there.

That would have been 6 for sure. Something tells me lil Bishop is going to have a talk with the coach about throwing the ball away. He killed any chance they had with some really poor decisions on their last 2 drives.
