Piratediehard Posted March 17, 2007 Report Posted March 17, 2007 How about them Pirates!!!! They started off a little sloppy but but got it together. Nederlands dugout got real quite after the 3rd inning!!! Who let the DOGS out!!!!!
Guest lovethecats Posted March 17, 2007 Report Posted March 17, 2007 What an outstanding job by ALL of the Pirates today. Everyone hit great and wonderful job by Taylor Robichau to come in and hold em to 4 runs! CONGRATS!
Guest pirates Posted March 17, 2007 Report Posted March 17, 2007 Whoever Nederland's right fielder is (I don't like to use players names), hats off to him....what a major league play he made late in the game.
piratefan Posted March 17, 2007 Report Posted March 17, 2007 Robichau did great coming in and holding them to no runs!! Vidor's hitting came around also after the first two innings..Good job Pirates!
adminbaberuth Posted March 18, 2007 Report Posted March 18, 2007 Jonathan Smith started for Pirates, got the ball up and Nederland took advantage of it and took a 4 run lead. For the Dogs, Ryan Sampere started strong, got thru order once, then the bottom dropped out. He had either Daniel Teal or VJ Bunner down 0-2 and hung a curve that open the flood gates with a 8 spot in the 3rd or 4th, Nederland's defense didn't help that inning either.Taylor Robichau of Vidor pitched great in relief. we know that VJ Bunner is something a SS, but Larry Williams the catcher is a throw back on the diamond, what a leader. The 4 hole hitter, I believe it's Perkins, has prospect written all over him.If Nederland can get Beau healthy, correct the defensive lapses, they can right this wobbling ship. That was Reagan Stanley with the major league catch in RF.
Guest Nederland Bulldogs Posted March 18, 2007 Report Posted March 18, 2007 What has happened at the pound? I haven't made it to a game yet.
TXBaseball Posted March 18, 2007 Report Posted March 18, 2007 Congratulations Pirates! Big win for you, keep up the good work.
