The BEARKATS lost to rice last night 5-3.  

Conference record: 19-5

Overall record: 33-16

SHSU took 2 of 3 from houston baptist this weekend.

Game 1: lost 5-1

Game 2: Win 7-5

Game 3: Win 9-6

Conference record: 21-6

Overall record: 35-17

Winner advances to JUCO World Series.  This play led to a double forfeit and 3rd Place team goes.  Such BS

 

Also Cisco was in the winners bracket of a double elimination tourney.  If they do forfeit, it would be their 1st loss and they advance.

The BEARKATS lost to the aggies last night 6-5.

Conference record: 21-6

Texas has won the first 2 games against TCU.  Okie Lt has lost both to Tech which puts them tied atop the Big 12.  Texas can clinch at least a share of the Big 12 title with a win tomorrow.  

 

Texas will most likely host a Regional with a Big 12 Title.  There is also a good chance that A&M is sent to Austin as a #2 seed.

The BEARKATS completed the regular season with a sweep over incarnate word.

Game 1: win 5-4

Game 2: win 16-1

Game 3: win: 7-3

A&M beat #25 Vandy 3-1 yesterday and #7 Georgia 7-0 today to advance to the 3rd round.  Next up #21 Auburn tomorrow at 4:30

 

Kansas beat Texas 3-2 in the 1st round of the Big 12 tourney.

Texas vs OU at 9am on FoxSports in an elimination game.  

 

The 4 top seeds in the Big 12 all lost on day 1.  They could end up only getting 2 bids from that conference.

The Big12 will get at least 3 teams in, provided Tech doesn't win the tourney. Texas, Texas Tech, and tourney champion (automatic bid) are all guarantees.

Baylor is one of the hottest teams in the country and I believe they have played themselves in by winning 20 of their last 23 games. 

On the opposite note, OK Lt has lost 9 out of their last 10 and will probably be watching from home.  

Texas’s RPI is down to 22 which is a stretch for a host.  Let’s see how much the committee values a regular season conference title.

Kansas has studs?  This isn’t basketball 

 

Texas’s resume isn’t great compared to other schools in the running to host.  We will see how much weight the committee gives winning conference.

Texas and Texas Tech awarded as host sights. I thought one or the other would receive a bid, but didn't think both would.
