The days of Nederland dominating our district are over. We played them last Friday and they didn't look that bad, but we have lost a lot of players so it made the game close. From what I have heard from Nederland alumni that watch their games is that their players are lazy, don't care, just playing to play. Nederland which always has good keepers are hurting this year. My sons friend that plays for Central said they scored 5 of the 7 from 25-30 yards out. They will Finish 6th in District, wont touch 25 goals and give up
TripleFlux
District top to bottom is not very good IMO...Some teams have looked like athletes/no skilled players while others are very young with not much leadership...Central has been best overall team I have seen...HS soccer is nowhere near what it was back in the day...Heck some better players dont even play for their HS teams...
