STiger85 Posted February 10, 2018 Report Posted February 10, 2018 Last night at the Silsbee/PA Memorial Scrimmage two players, one from each team, had a ball foul off their bat while batting and hit them in the face. The player from Silsbee happened at the beginning of the game and was transported to the hospital. The player from Memorial happened at the end of the game and was being looked at as the scrimmage was called off. Want to send prayers to both these players for fast healing. Quote

STiger85 Posted February 13, 2018 Author Report Posted February 13, 2018 The Silsbee player will have surgery Friday morning. He has been told he could be out 3 to 6 weeks or out for the season, maybe never play again. It depends on how the surgery goes. Hoping for the best for this young man. walldrill Posted February 16, 2018 Report Posted February 16, 2018 Any updates on the Dunn kid? Hope his recovery goes well. Really enjoy seeing him play the game. He is a hard nosed gritty player. Plays the game the right way! Quote

STiger85 Posted February 17, 2018 Author Report Posted February 17, 2018 Ethan surgery went well today, a little more damage than first thought. If he can get through this weekend passing all his eye test it will be a victory. As it looks right now, doctors thinking six weeks before practicing baseball again. Here's to getting through this weekend! ST413, walldrill and Tigers2010 3 Quote
