JMO I did not see him on the list. I will check again and apologize if I missed him. The coaches nominate players from their teams and PNG is represented. Quote
The Icon Posted February 12, 2018 Report Posted February 12, 2018 Do the coaches or do the Texas Sports Writers (TSWA)? Quote

According to what I read on it the coaches can nominate up tp 6 players. If they nominate the same player on both offense and defense that counts as two. The deadline for the nominations was Dec. 29th. Honestly, I am sure their are a number of deserving athletes that get left off for one reason or another. I was just trying to give props to the kids that did make it. KF89 1 Quote
Cougtalk Posted February 15, 2018 Report Posted February 15, 2018 First Team: John Stephen Jones, Highland Park, 5-11, 190, sr. Second Team: (tie) Kason Martin, Manvel, 6-4, 205, sr.; Spencer Sanders, Denton Ryan, 6-2, 195, sr. Hard to argue against the QBs on the List too. Not on the Honorable Mentions list makes me think his name wasn't submitted for some reason. Quote

Kid from HP probably had one of the best games I have ever seen given the competition and stage. Quote
