uknowit2 Posted February 14, 2018 Report Posted February 14, 2018 Would be a great match up Sat night. At EC of course. I’ll even fly in to Winnie Intercontinental... if it’s not foggy, raining, etc. WhenitMattersMost 1 Quote
uknowit2 Posted February 14, 2018 Author Report Posted February 14, 2018 Right. Small 4A v Large 3A. Slight advantage to Silsbee. 5 pt game either way. Quote

I would need to go back and count the non tournament games for both teams. each played in 3 tourneys so that only allows you to play 19 non district and district games combined. Quote
ST413 Posted February 14, 2018 Report Posted February 14, 2018 And I think ours was full not sure either. Quote
uknowit2 Posted February 14, 2018 Author Report Posted February 14, 2018 Drove down and to SA to catch Silsbee in Dec. Wagner owned them. I’m not saying EC is in Wagner’s class. I’m saying they can be beat by a well coached, high pressure athletic team. EC is still young so there’s that. Quote
AggiesAreWe Posted February 14, 2018 Report Posted February 14, 2018 Both teams have played their limit of 19 games. Neither can play a warm up game. Quote
ST413 Posted February 14, 2018 Report Posted February 14, 2018 And yes we played 9 non district. Quote

I have seen EC and Silsbee multiple times this season. I would say Silsbee would be at least a 15 point favorite. CATMAN 1 Quote
uknowit2 Posted February 14, 2018 Author Report Posted February 14, 2018 Well that explains it. Learn new things all the time. Hopefully they meet passing at the ADome. Quote

Y’all know I am a big fan of the Bucs but I almost put I almost put earlier that I would make Silsbee a 15-20 pt favorite (so I guess 17-18). East Chambers strengths don’t match well with Silsbee’s imo. But who cares, they aren’t going to play. Let’s hope both take it one game at a time and get to see each other play in San Antonio. Quote
About a week ago Posted February 14, 2018 Report Posted February 14, 2018 This game would not happen lol! Although I think EC would surprise people, think they would keep it to a 15-20 point game. But EC would not beat Silsbee. Quote

uknowit2 Posted February 14, 2018 Author Report Posted February 14, 2018 Complicated. Win or lose I would attend. It wouldn’t mean anything anyway. Quote
Kountzer Posted February 14, 2018 Report Posted February 14, 2018 Silsbee lost big time to both SA Wagner & to Duncanville, to ranked 6A schools. Those lose were disconcerting, but EC is not in the same class with those two teams, neither literally or figuratively. Not even close. BADSANTA 1 Quote

Maybe they need to put the game on schedule next year and then you would be able to see the difference Silsbee 15-20 bettter easily Quote
uknowit2 Posted February 14, 2018 Author Report Posted February 14, 2018 Right again. EC will match up very well. It won’t be long before they they’ll be in the same district anyway. Quote

uknowit2 Posted February 14, 2018 Author Report Posted February 14, 2018 Silsbee will become our old Kountze. Just stirring it up. Quote
