Saw a post about a Yates vs Wheatley warm up. Why would you play a warm up against someone you could meet early in the playoffs, surely this is a typo.

Nope, not a typo.

I believe it's the first time ever two schools in the same district will have played a warm up game. Kind of a head scratcher.

I also thought that 3:30 time was odd butI seem to remember Yates playing someone last year or maybe a year before at a time like that.  But on top of them being in the same district, by the scores I saw Yates beat them both times by around 50.  What purpose does a game like that serve?
