HFHORNS Posted March 19, 2007 Report Posted March 19, 2007 Unfortunately, I will have to go with the opposing team on this one. :'(
TXBaseball Posted March 19, 2007 Report Posted March 19, 2007 BC should have this one! But no guarantees after that outing against OF. Go Cards!
hfveeder Posted March 20, 2007 Report Posted March 20, 2007 well irreguardless, bc is a powerhouse and hf has been playing trashy baseball. not to mention the 3 hole hitter and starting ss randle courville is out on dl. look for a lot of youngsters to be on the field tonight for hamshire.
East TX Posted March 20, 2007 Report Posted March 20, 2007 I see a BC win regardless of who pitches. I think they will save Stringer for the next game. My guess Freshman Hicks or Sophomore Cessac will start the game...Maybe even Bolton the 2nd baseman.BC really showed character scoring 6 runs in the top of the 7th out at OF. That 13-11 win says to me they can go far. Bunch of determined kids. After looking at that sad display behind the plate--I think that Gentleman should not be allowed to call anymore games. When both teams have double digit walks on their Pitchers(and there was not strike zone at all); it confused a lot of batters and pitchers---sad-sad-sad.There are good teams and bad teams--guess that holds true for plate Umps? Most of the time the Umps are not trying to be the star attraction.
HFHORNS Posted March 20, 2007 Report Posted March 20, 2007 What has happened to all of HF's older players??????????
CArdinaL0711 Posted March 20, 2007 Report Posted March 20, 2007 stringer will still be startin tonight, we play WOS friday and pretty sure he won't pitch that game so he should have atleast a week rest after tonight
hfveeder Posted March 21, 2007 Report Posted March 21, 2007 well, let me see. i believe coach landry is calling this a rebuilding year. after four consecutive trips to the playoffs since he has been here, there just isnt as much varsity experience or talent this year as there has been in the past. in turn, two of the starting seniors quit due to decrease in play time and sophmores are gaining more experience each week.
