I had heard Silsbee wanted to wait to see if their girls won tonight before deciding on when to play. If girls win they have to play Friday . Think the boys wanted the option of playing Thursday if that was the case

Only thing North Forest will probably win is the dunk count. But they're actually not bad.

The first game was 103-92.

The second game was 82-66.

Not bad at all.  They are ranked 21.  They should give us a good game.  The guys down at the end of our bench have probably seen their last playing time this year.

The game last year was a masterpiece.  The final score was 124-84.  If they had wanted to slow it down North Forest wouldn't have scored 40 pts.  The game was over at the end of the first qtr. 35-12.  But we didn't coast as the final would indicate.  

Coach Woods made an unguarded comment after the game to the press that was just priceless.  He said. "Wow.  Those guys really are good."  I think that pretty much summed up last year.  I wanted to have it put on my State Tournament T Shirt that my son-in-law was making for us but I didn't find out about it in time.

Anyway, North Forest is, I'm sure, up for a little payback.  Sending the Tigers home early would do nicely.  But it ain't gonna happen.

North forest is nice ..silsbee should win by 15-20 ..they have a big man that is ultra physical and jumps through the roof ..they have solid wings (10) is a dog  ...pg play can be shaky at times

Silsbee will win by 18-20. North Forest doesn' have a bench at all. They go 6 deep and the kid who jumps out the gym and one other kid is most of their team. Silsbee better come to play thought. Would like to see Adams and McCain drive all night. IL be there.

I don't live far from Scarborough.  There are not many parks & places to run hoop in that area.  Maybe their coach opens the gym for them.

The Tigers had that press & trap working very well in spurts last night.  Maybe not as good as last year, or the year before, but impressive just the same.  Reminds me of thanksgiving before last when they got  unleashed on Houston Chistian HS.

My Tigers will be fine until they see Yates.  Just stay focused Tigers. I am gonna make sure that I am off work for the Regional Final game.

Well duh!!.....so we get the opportunity to drive in that awesome 4-6 o'clock Houston traffic.

Drive to Livingston then drop into Kingwood on 59 South.  You will mostly going against traffic.
