aTmfan06 Posted February 21, 2018 Report Posted February 21, 2018 Central Heights beat Trinity 62-48 in Bi district while Kountze beat East Bernard 102-63. I think Kountze will have show up and play well if they wanna take this one. Whoever wins this game will face the winner of Coldspring and Hitchcock. I also think whoever wins this matchup (Kountze/Central Heights) will be the favorite in the next round. Quote
HasBeen36 Posted February 21, 2018 Report Posted February 21, 2018 Central Heights will be too much. Watched them play Newton this year in Central Heights. #13 is a monster CH by 20 Quote
aTmfan06 Posted February 21, 2018 Author Report Posted February 21, 2018 I think Joubert is the X factor here. The past couple years no one really thinks Kountze will do much in the playoffs (including me). Yet they put together a run some how. Joubert has done some amazing coaching jobs with Kountze when facing teams with more talent. Quote
Aces_Full Posted February 21, 2018 Report Posted February 21, 2018 Central Heights by double digits. Quote
whsalum Posted February 21, 2018 Report Posted February 21, 2018 Joubert is as good as anyone in the state at getting the most out of his players. As you get deeper in the playoffs though the guards get better at taking care of the ball. Kountze doesn't have an offensive threat this year , if they can't turn you over they won't beat you . Quote
