Eshbach was just ridiculous.... I think Orangefield had 2 other 16 footers that same year.... and a herd of other good vaulters.what was that coach's name??? can't remember.

Don't forget Jacob Davis who had vaulted 17'6 leading up to the state meet his senior year (1996) and hurt his knee during warmups. He had consistly gone over 18' in practice leading into the state meet that year.
