How does Jarrell match-up with East Chambers?

EC probably has the better guards, butbJarrell has a much greater height advantage. Don’t be surprise if EC knocks them off. Jarrell will no doubt have not seen speed like EC.

Jarrell has played a tough schedule as per max prep. Their only lost 3 times once to Coppell (6A), once to Grapevine (5A), and once to West Oso (4A) and still in the playoffs. Going to be tough for the Bucs.

Jarrell played Teague, who plays a style like EC. Teague took them to OT.

They played Teague who probably was just as athletic and fast as EC. This will be a good game

Teague I agree, but I promise Teague’s press is not like EC’s.

Starting guard Jayce Guillory for EC sprained his ankle not sure how bad.  Hope he’s ok to play.

Will be a game time decision on Friday. EC is going to need him.

The big man for Jarrell is super smooth and knows how to play basketball to say the least. The guards can really shoot the ball, are disciplined, and definitely well coached! I really hope Guillory is ok to play which I am almost positive he will be out there. All that being said, pressure bust them pipes lol, EC should win the game by 8-14 points!

To me, this is the regional final. No offense to the other two teams, especially Kountze who is playing outstanding right now. Kountze I still don’t believe will matchup well with EC, and if Jarrell beats EC I would take them over Kountze-Grandview.

I was impressed with the way EC blocked out in the Central game.  They are strong in that area in my opinion.  If they continue to do that the height of Jarrell should not be a problem.

EC is well coached. It’s the little things.

So I heard Teague did not press Jarrell last night. So I doubt Jarrell has seen a team press like EC can. EC will have to get the pace of the game uptempo, so Jarrell’s big man doesn’t become a big factor. One thing I know about EC, it doesn’t matter if you are 7’0 or 5’0 they will not back down.

Will know at game time. I know a few kids were sick Tuesday night, and ended up going to the doctor the next day. Hopefully they are ready to go, the big one is if Guillory can go. EC is going to need to be at full strength ready to play.
