Joe Sigler's Tigers, now 26-8 on the season, reached this round with 98-63 bi-district win over Huntington, a 84-54 area round win over Houston North Forest and a 99-76 regional quarterfinal win over Houston Scarborough. Meanwhile, the Cadets, 23-8 on the season and champs of District 17-4A, reached this round with a 70-49 win over Mexia, a 64-59 win over Lampasas, and a 80-75 win over Hillsboro. The winner of this game will face the winner of the Houston Yates/Liberty Hill regional semifinal which will be played immediately before this game. Get a nice little lead and then watch Connally fight right back and give us all we wanted and then some. But these Tigers never give up and kept battling and finally took over in that fourth quarter. Way to go guys! Now you can focus on that battle that everyone has been wanting to see. Quote
