The Leggett Pirates look to conplete a trip to San Antonio as they take on the Laneville Yellowjackets tonight in Class 1A, Region IV Semifinal play. The Pirates reached this point after a 1st round bye, a 55-31 win over Rocksprings and a 63-60 win over Moulton.  Meanwhile, Laneville also received a 1st round bye followed by a 82-27 win over Bartlett and a 77-70 overtime win over Milford.

The winner of this game will face the winner of the Oakwood/Waelder Region IV semifinal which will be played right before this game.

This is a very winnable game.  On paper I’d say an easier opponent than Laneville, but obviously they’re still a good team to have made it this far.
