Media is reporting that former H-J defensive lineman and current Rice U football player Blain Padgett passed away in his apartment in Houston.

This is absolutely stunning news.  Just saw this on kfdm.  I’m in shock right now.  He was a great athlete, and by all accounts a great kid.
