Article stated that it was 8 years old. Warranty is 8 years and life expectancy is 10. So, they decided to go ahead and replace it.

never had this problem with natural grass which is replaced by the lord when ready. The turf also has the cancer in it but they don't much want to talk about that

While all are entitled to their opinions about BISD, I thought a little injection of fact, that the Butch was INDEED turning 8 this year, was needed with some of the comments being made here.

And a fact that is usually left out by proponents, turf does have to be replaced every 8-10 years.
