No Im actually serious. I ran across a old thread from 2015 that listed Braylon Bush when he was at Legacy, Jordyn Adams when he was at Vincent , Mcain from Silsbee. Dotson when he was with St Anthony and a few other kids. They were pretty accurate in that discuss. Just wanted to see the talent that will let our area to future State appearances

Coby Elam is pretty good. Yes, he's from Silsbee. We'll see if he goes straight to varsity or not next year.

Bryce Anderson, Chandler Rivers, and Aron Akhtar would be in my top 5 for any 8th grade list right now.

Yep I saw him 2 years ago....pretty darn good for a six grader at that time

I know this is kind of foolish to say now but if Arceneaux grows a little bit more and continues to polish his skills, he’ll be a D1 player.

Man, I kid you not if those top 3 all stay at Legacy they could compete for a title next season. Aron and Bryce would be immediate game changers. Thomas is already an elite level high school shooter. A lot of young talent in SETx right now

They won't stay at legacy... Maybe one or two will but not as a group. I don't believe so anyways! But I love their game for sure!

I was hearing months ago that Anderson was more likely than not going to WB.

It’s hard to tell how (most) kids will progress. Some dominate in middle school but fade when they hit highschool. Other kids catch up or their interest changes. And some excel. And some are just naturals.

From what I've heard the best 8th grade basketball player in SE Texas is actually a girl at Hardin Jefferson. Don't know the young ladies name but I hear she is already getting serious attention from the top women's D1 teams in the nation.
