BADSANTA Posted March 19, 2018 Report Posted March 19, 2018 Who will take over for Collins and how do you think they will look next season in the new district? Quote
scoopno1 Posted March 20, 2018 Report Posted March 20, 2018 I look for Draelyn Taylor to play quarterback until one of the younger players is ready to fill the role. Quote
AggiesAreWe Posted March 20, 2018 Report Posted March 20, 2018 Silsbee got a transfer from Kountze this past week that will help the running game. HurricaneCal 1 Quote
The Icon Posted March 20, 2018 Report Posted March 20, 2018 Do you think Silsbee runs the same offense as the past 2 years? Quote

PlayActionPass Posted March 20, 2018 Report Posted March 20, 2018 Unless they have a Freshman that can sling it, this will be a very run heavy offense. They have two good, young backs returning, but from what I saw last year there is not a QB in the program that can throw with any accuracy or arm strength. Quote

DeuceSixSuited Posted March 20, 2018 Report Posted March 20, 2018 One of those RB could play QB and play it pretty good growing up... It will be interesting to see what they do. Quote

aTmfan06 Posted March 20, 2018 Report Posted March 20, 2018 Not only the QB position but also I’m wondering how the offensive line will be. Quote

My question was more or less geared toward the 3 good RBs and lack of a QB, in addition to the change in OC. Quote

PdaddyBball Posted March 21, 2018 Report Posted March 21, 2018 What kind of influence will the new OC have on them? Can he help develop a QB or what? Quote
STiger85 Posted March 21, 2018 Report Posted March 21, 2018 Corbin Johnson (Soph) was the JV QB last year until the last couple of games when he got moved up to varsity. Him and Jacob Collins would go through QB drills every day at practice with the QB coach. From what I saw he has a good touch on the deep pass and can throw the outs and slants, ok on roll outs. Not as strong of an arm as Collins but strong. Best thing about off season is you get to improve. If he is the next QB we’ll see. BlueOwl 1 Quote

BMTSoulja1 Posted April 11, 2018 Report Posted April 11, 2018 I also 'heard' that one of the candidates for 2018 QB job is working with a former local QB which was an all state player in HS and all conference in college, who just so happen to have Silsbee ties. The Icon and BADSANTA 2 Quote
