Yeah, my 850 fps .45 acp FMJ would probably feel like a BB. I have a pellet rifle that's faster than that, but that .45 is like getting hit with a 4 lb. mall.

The shooter is dead and the other 2 are in the hospital.  Great job by the resource officer.  He saved us a lot of time and money and possibly a lot of lives.

You could have a nice portable bed set up in the basement of the NRA armory.  And have a glock sitting on a night stand on one side, and a .357 on a stand on the other.   And if heaven decides it is time for you to go, guess what, you are going to go.

Please explain your definition of an "assault gun". Then please explain your definition of a "mentally impaired" person. Let's make this easy on you. A new law is passed that bans assault weapons and bans mentally impaired persons from owning a firearm. The Police Chief holds a meeting to inform his officers of the new law. One officer asks what qualifies as an assault weapon. Another officer inquires as to who qualifies as a mentally impaired person. You are the Police Chief. How do you respond?

Mentally impaired: someone stupid and unbalanced enough to go into a school and randomly start shooting innocent children.   It is rather simple to define.  Or some self described psychopathic nut job, quite often from middle class america, who has nothing better to do but to mail bombs to the East side of town, where he knows many minorities live.  Why?  Because he's crazy.  Better yet he's a terrorist so he does what terrorists do, he terrorizes.

So dildo, it would be nice if  A the assault guns, could be kept from B the nut jobs.   It is real simple.  Butt jobs like you make it hard.

So any weapon that holds 16 bullets is a killing machine that should be banned. All others are legal. Yeah, that will solve the problem.

What crystal ball do you are anyone own that can predict who will go into a school and randomly shoot innocent children, or predict who will kill anyone? Where is this technology? Who has this ability? Oh yeah, that only exists in fantasyland. Who gets to decide who is mentally impaired? It's a serious topic in which you have no clue and probably should not be part of the discussion. Luckily for you this is America and you can't be banned from discussing on a subject, no matter how short-sided, immature, and deficient in common sense your rationale may be. You do realize Charles Whitman killed people with one of the most popular hunting rifles made.  It holds no more than five rounds.  Your name calling says a lot.

If we go into serial killers, guns are very rarely used, yet there are still lots of dead people. This has no bearing on the anti-gun crowd.

If you believe that death is predetermined for everybody, why have any gun laws/restrictions at all?
