go stros Posted March 20, 2007 Report Posted March 20, 2007 i gotta say i agree...should give a good look at how the district season will go
PANTHERPLAYA09 Posted March 20, 2007 Author Report Posted March 20, 2007 ya that should be second place battle
frosty Posted March 21, 2007 Report Posted March 21, 2007 i say if splendora throws parker then it could be lights out for the liberty bats
femur_breaker Posted March 21, 2007 Report Posted March 21, 2007 This could shape up to be a good game. They split last year. Both teams are capable of hitting the ball. The cats pitching can be pretty solid. These are two teams that play with a lot of class. Get a W to open district cats!
PANTHERPLAYA09 Posted March 21, 2007 Author Report Posted March 21, 2007 Libertys starter(Tyler George)isnt to shabby himself.
bleacher_bum Posted March 21, 2007 Report Posted March 21, 2007 Tyler George is a very good lefty! He has matured alot over the last couple of years. If he has all his stuff Friday, and Splendora throws their ace, it may be a low scoring game. Liberty needs to start manufacturing some more runs, they may be hard to come by this Friday. Good luck Panthers!
Kobe Posted March 24, 2007 Report Posted March 24, 2007 WELL WELL WELL...looks like ol liberty pulled that one out of the bag 4-3 great game and to say parker pitched...i think liberty's bats were pretty loud!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Splendora guy Posted March 24, 2007 Report Posted March 24, 2007 i would have to say i didnt liberty's baseball team was that solid..great game guys cant take anything away from yall!! spelndora keep your heads up plenty more games to play and im still with you guys til the end.
go stros Posted March 24, 2007 Report Posted March 24, 2007 whoa liberty won? i am rather shocked! there is still 9 district games left, and anything can happen....last i heard tarkington was beating shepherd 12-7 in the 5th or 6th
3apantherfan Posted March 24, 2007 Report Posted March 24, 2007 George pitched a pretty good game for liberty
go stros Posted March 24, 2007 Report Posted March 24, 2007 tarkington beat COLDSPRING....not shepherd like i said! 12-10
Kobe Posted March 24, 2007 Report Posted March 24, 2007 Where is frosty?? he said if splendora pitched parker liberty's bats would b lights out!! what happen?
frosty Posted March 24, 2007 Report Posted March 24, 2007 yea i said it could happen. oh no please forgive i was wrong on a prediction and a high-schooler was right, dang i hate when that happens.
Guest backspin Posted March 24, 2007 Report Posted March 24, 2007 I must be missing something here, is four runs considered lighting it up? Sounds more like Liberty had better pitching and defense. Good win for Liberty.
Kobe Posted March 25, 2007 Report Posted March 25, 2007 yeah frosty..too bad im not in high school tho buddy!
bleacher_bum Posted March 25, 2007 Report Posted March 25, 2007 Parker pitched very well for Splendora, George for Liberty pitched equally as well. As I said in my prediction, a low scoring, good battle, where Liberty came out on top. It was a GREAT game by both teams. Liberty bats were not intimidated by the speed of Parkers pitching. And George had all his stuff working while hitting his spots. Great game and good job Panthers!
soking Posted March 25, 2007 Report Posted March 25, 2007 well put bleacher bum, i didn't go to the game but i heard it was a very good game and if liberty can stay healthy i think they can pull out with a district title..
frosty Posted March 26, 2007 Report Posted March 26, 2007 i dont know about a district title but i definately see playoffs
bleacher_bum Posted March 26, 2007 Report Posted March 26, 2007 Yea, I believe Tarkington will have something to say about the title. that said Liberty could pull it out, its not unfeasable to believe Liberty could challenge for it...This district looks to be a good, tough challenge for everyone.I see Liberty, Tarkington, and Splendora, that's just my thoughts, I haven't seen the rest of the district play yet.
Guest backspin Posted March 26, 2007 Report Posted March 26, 2007 I don't know if Coldspring is quite there yet, but they will have something to say about who gets out. They hit the ball pretty well, up and down their lineup. I just don't know it they have the pitching.
