I wonder if it's still legal to spank your children?  No doubt the States & Feds have gotten where they don't belong, I'm just not sure how far.  Guess it depends on the State.

I put 1000's of Miles on my bike when I was younger riding all across town. If we weren't home when the street lights came on or at least call, our asses were busted. Majority of the time our parents had no clue where we were, only that we would be home before dark. They would probably be in prison today for that.

As small children crawling age were placed on a blanket and told to remain there, when we crawled off the blanket we were spanked, from a young age we learned to fear authority and question nothing

as we got older when our genitals stirred we publicly shamed to learn morality, they'd probably lock people up nowdays for that to, no wonder the viet cong is still around

I got some whippings that nowadays would get CPS called in...same with most of my friends.

We all seemed to turn out OK.
