Englebert Posted April 5, 2018 Report Posted April 5, 2018 Can someone please help me out with this simple math problem. For some reason I can't seem to make these simple computations work. We have at least 11 million illegals in this country. We know this because both sides seem to be stuck on this number, although I think it's probably a lot higher. These illegals work the jobs American citizens won't do. We know this because the Liberals tout this notion at every turn. The jobs Americans won't do are low paying jobs. We know this because if they were high paying jobs, American citizens would do them. Illegals are not loners, they have families. We know this because Liberals always say that if we deport the illegals, we will be breaking up families. A person cannot support a family working a low-wage job without government support. We know this because practically every Liberal espoused this notion during the recent “minimum wage” debate. Illegals are not receiving government support. We know this because Liberals have chastised anyone that claims this to be true. Illegals are contributing to the American economy. We know this because the Liberals tell us this is true. So the conundrum is: How can a person working a low wage job with no government assistance support a family while simultaneously contributing to the economy? Bonus question: How does an illegal support his family if he becomes disabled or when he is too old to work? Quote
Hagar Posted April 6, 2018 Report Posted April 6, 2018 I've toiled about 12 hours on this problem. I consider myself very good at math (at least I was), but am at a lost at algebra. My definition of algebra is any math problem with a letter of the alphabet in it. Unfortunately, best as I can tell to come up with the correct answer, we'll need to use letters. So here's my best shot. what we know = 11 million illegals, A =Low paying jobs, B = Americans on welfare who refuse to work low paying jobs, C+=No Illegals don't get welfare (I put a plus because there's a lot more than no illegals getting welfare),. And D =Illegals contributing to the economy. So we have: 11m over A, minus B to the square root, divided byC+, plus D. I'm not going to write out the solution to this problem, for it's much to long. I'll simply give the answer. And the answer = LAFOP (Liberals Are Full of Poop). I give up on the Bonus question. Quote
stevenash Posted April 6, 2018 Report Posted April 6, 2018 But they are soooooooooo "compassionate". They "care" more than we do. This is not about power. Quote
