Statements like these kill me. The umpire had no vested interest in who won this game. No doubt Payne threw a great game but the kid from Vidor is pretty good also.

They are easy targets.. Both pitchers were on there game last night. A few walks got Payne in trouble. Kizer had 10ks and threw a complete game on 87 pitches I believe? That's the reason Lumberton lost. This was a 1 to 0 game in the top of the 7th with 2 outs. If Payne doesn't have to come out because of pitch count they still lose 1 to 0.

I assure you, the Umps WHERE not the reason Lumberton lost!

Both pitchers pitched a GREAT game 1-0/6-0 Lumberton still would have lost.

When you cant score you cant win!

On to the next game!

Both Payne and Kizer pitched great!! When ya can't hit, ya ain't gonna score.

Goes back to the 1st inning. Runner on 3rd. 1 out. 3 hole hitter comes up and strikes out. Gotta put the ball in play and score that run. 4 hole hitter then comes up and strikes out for 3rd out! End of story!
