Probably a little early but what area teams (besides Silsbee, lol) should be good or better next season?

East Chambers should be extremely good next season. I think they were honestly one of the top four teams in the state last season. Jarrell was not a better team, than EC. They won the game, and had the size to beat EC, but EC missed a crazy amount of uncontested layups and shots. They were a very nervous group going into the game. I think this season they get it done. I think EC might finally get to hang that Runnin' Bucs State Championship Banner!

Could be EC’s year. What tourneys are they in this year?

EC added another transfer that pushes them over the edge. They will win the 3a state championship.

Not this year but in 2019 2020 kountze will be better given that 9 th grade group stay together and stay out of trouble

Seems every year people say Kountze is down but they always seem to win playoff games.

Didn’t say they were down just said they ll be better.  Also they may have lost some players on this years team.

Would like to see a few local teams at state this year again. Hopefully Silsbee will be one.

[Kountzer]

I plan to watch how this up coming season unfolds for Silsbee.  They have a chance to do something rare.  Stiff competition coming out of Dallas, Argyle, etc.

I will deal with next season, & the one after that when it gets here.
