king Posted May 12, 2018 Report Posted May 12, 2018 Rockets have to come out and make a strong statement game 1. They can not afford a night off! This is going to be an all out war. i have the Rockets in a hard fought 7 game series Quote
ladybug33 Posted May 13, 2018 Report Posted May 13, 2018 I hope Harden doesn’t come out dribbling the basketball too much. Harden is a great player but, he cannot afford to handle the ball too much because of turnovers. CP3 is better at setting up plays, and breaking down the other team’s defense. My only concerns are that Eric Gordon and the bench player’s showing up, and I hope that Green gets more playing time. Ryan Anderson has been disappointing the Rockets should pay him out of his contract after this season. CP3 should make Curry play defense by making big shots early and often to keep Curry from hiding behind the picks and shooting 3’s. Capella will have to show Draymond Green that he is not backing down from his foolishness kicking, and jawing on the court. Ref’s will hopefully be neutral. I expect a Rockets win tomorrow night. GO ROCKETS! Quote
PhatMack19 Posted May 15, 2018 Report Posted May 15, 2018 Harden is feeling it early with the Rockets first 9 points. 2 minutes in and Green already has a technical for going after Harden. This series is going to get chippy Quote
Peppermint Patty Posted May 15, 2018 Report Posted May 15, 2018 Warriors are just too deep. After last night, I get a feeling they will sweep this series. Quote
king Posted May 15, 2018 Author Report Posted May 15, 2018 Rockets played too much hero/iso ball. Harden only passes it when he is in trouble Quote
Tigers2010 Posted May 16, 2018 Report Posted May 16, 2018 Been saying it all year. Houston improved and had a great regular season. They still do not have enough to beat Golden State...no one does. Quote
king Posted May 17, 2018 Author Report Posted May 17, 2018 Now that’s what u call a great game by Houston. They abandoned the Harden ISO and made Chris Paul the main ball handler. Gordon and Tucker stepped up big time. The series has now started Quote

Tigers2010 Posted May 17, 2018 Report Posted May 17, 2018 Last night was a solid effort by Houston. I will not run from my opinion, even after the Rockets win last night. I never expected Houston to get swept. I thought, and still think it ends in 6. At the end of the day, Houston dropped home-court and got a split. That is a win for Golden State. Now, Houston has to steal one in Oakland. If they don't, I think they win Game 5 and get ended in Game 6. If they split the next two, it goes 7. Quote

Tigers2010 Posted May 21, 2018 Report Posted May 21, 2018 What happened tonight isn't so much on Houston. They didn't play very well, but that isn't the problem. This is what the NBA is now. They (GS) have 4 stars. 2 superstars, but 4 stars, nonetheless. Nobody is beating them 4 out of 7. Quote
king Posted May 21, 2018 Author Report Posted May 21, 2018 I don’t get why we play this stupid iso ball. Looked like they threw the game last night Quote

Chris Paul covers it up, at times, but at the end of the day that is just who they are. Houston relies heavily on James and his game is iso. It works in the regular season because teams aren't play as much strategy based defenses in those games. Playoff defensive intensity is different, and Harden's game has very rarely translated to playoff success because of it. It wouldn't matter though, GS is at a different level than any team in the league. Quote
Tigers2010 Posted May 23, 2018 Report Posted May 23, 2018 Both series are tied. Both higher seeded teams have home court advantage in a best two out of three series. Both higher seeds expected to lose. Crazy Quote
king Posted May 24, 2018 Author Report Posted May 24, 2018 Seems like every game gets bigger and bigger. Game 5 tonight @8 Quote
Tigers2010 Posted May 25, 2018 Report Posted May 25, 2018 No CP3 for Game 6. Hopefully he will be available for Game 7 Quote
About a week ago Posted May 25, 2018 Report Posted May 25, 2018 With CP3 out the Rockets need Harden to score 35+, with Gordon and Ariza having big games as well. Capela, Green, and Tucker need to keep on doing what they are doing. But one of those first two have to go offf. Don’t think they can’t beat them without CP3. But with the Warriors back to the wall and back home, it’s a tough task. Quote
navydawg31 Posted May 26, 2018 Report Posted May 26, 2018 Harden will have a MVP performance tonight. Gordon will step up and rise to occasion. Tucker and capella will keep bringing what they got. And everyone thinking CP3 out and rockets can’t win tonight they pull a rabbit out the hat and beat the warriors. Rockets win, Vegas wins, NBA wins. We all win! Haha Quote
bullets13 Posted May 27, 2018 Report Posted May 27, 2018 Rockets got out scored 64-25 in the second half. The rockets scored 25 points in a half. That’s terrible. I knew they were in trouble when mid-way through the 3rd they were 13-26 from 3 and golden state was somehow still tied with them. Quote
