Kirbyville 13 New Waverly 1/GM2-FINAL/Kirbyville wins series 2-0!

The Kirbyville Wildcats look to punch their ticket to the next step of the playoffs as they take on the New Waverly Bulldogs in Game 2 of this Class 3A, Region III Quarterfinal tonight.  Craig Jones' Wildcats took Game 1, 8-2, to take a 1-0 series lead last night.

Should a Game 3 be necessary, it will take place on Saturday at 3 in Lufkin.

The winner of this series will face either Groesbeck or West.
