Grayson Rodriquez from Central Heights projected to go between 10th and 21st overall. Latest mock draft this morning had him at 11 to the O’s!

Rodriguez went #11 to the Orioles with a slot value of $4.375m

Sadly he will never put on an Aggie uniform

Kyler Murray picked #9 by the A’s  So does he play QB next year for Oklahoma?

Supposedly he told teams it was contingent on him playing football next year, but no way he can turn down $4.8m in slot money.

I was wondering the exact same thing. A $4.8m payday would be tough to pass up on and if they are paying him 1st round money, odds are they want his sole focus to be on baseball and the A's organization if he signs.

The A’s are known to do some shady stuff.  They aren’t a contender and don’t have a huge payroll.  Some are suggesting they drafted him knowing they wouldn’t sign him and have more money to spend later in the draft and another 1st round pick next year.

Wouldn't surprise me at all. Keep him away from other teams via the draft and guarantee a supplemental pick in next years draft.
