So you have never misspoke? It's ok not to like her. I'm just saying very few of our elected officials know their stuff.  And that in and of itself doesn't disqualify her for running for office.

Have you truly listened to what come out of the mouth of the fool currently holding the highest elected office in the land?

In any case, feel free to make jokes.

Yes, I’ve misspoke, but she didn’t.  Not then.  She’s anti-Capitalism.  That’s a prepared response based upon her Socialist agenda.  In another interview, she gave the Party opinion on Palestine, but when questioned, admitted she knew nothing about it (kudos for being candid).

Speaking of topics you know nothing about would fall under the umbrella of misspeaking. At this point it's up to the voters in New York to decide if that's who they want to represent them.

Until then make all the jokes you want.

She is a communist.

Most libs are entertaining when they say what’s actually on their mind. There are several on this board that crack me up with their nonsense.

The most consistent thing I find in Liberals is there inability to admit it when the Dems screw the pooch.  They’ll he-haw around.  Bring up Republican mistakes.  Change the subject.  Mention slavery (as if the Republicans caused it).  Start name calling and cussing.  And finally call you a racist that only watches FOX News (which I rarely do).  But for them to say the Democrats made a mistake, why heck, that’s sacrilege.

From the article:

“The restaurant I used to work at is closing its doors. I swung by today to say hi one last time, and kid around with friends like old times,” the congressional candidate reminisced on Twitter. “I’m a normal, working person who chose to run for office, because I believe we can have a better future.”

The Coffee Shop in Union Square, which became especially famous after regularly appearing on HBO’s “Sex and the City,” will close down this fall after nearly 28 years in business. Co-owner and President Charles Milite announced the decision to shut the doors to its 150 employees last month.

But unlike what Ocasio-Cortez wants you to believe about the closing down, it wasn’t the result of greedy capitalists trying to squeeze the workers, but rather government regulations that forced the company to go bust.

“The times have changed in our industry,” Milite told the New York Post last month. “The rents are very high and now the minimum wage is going up and we have a huge number of employees.”

Keep in mind before reading this, I voted for Clinton back in the day!!! I am NOT a straight party voter.

The "fool" you speak of has done more in two years than our predecessor did in 8. Is he abrasive? You bet he is, because he knows the snowflake libtards meltdown every time he opens his mouth. He is not a politician! That is how he got elected in the first place. Why cant people see this?

Does he need to be a little more "presidential"? I would be the first to say "yes" , but the dude can blab and blab all he wants as long as he continues to "drain the swamp" in Washington and get things done. Libtards are celebrating the fact that they won control in the house and good for them, but only 3 times in history has a sitting president gained seats in the house during his first midterm, so it was expected. Don't know the exact numbers but Obama's and Clinton's midterms were devastating both in house and senate. Trump GAINED a senate seat or two, which opens pandora's box for the Dem's when it comes to the Supreme Court and its future.

Now the house is back in Dem's hands, I am curious as to whether they will "legislate" or "investigate"? My bet is the latter because it's unproductive and unproductiveness and entitlement is what they are all about.

Hard to defend this lady. She really is clueless.....How do you pay for expensive things you can't afford? "Like you pay for anything, you just pay for it". LOL

She sounds like my kids.  “Just put it on your credit card.”  I wish it was that easy.

From the article:

“Maybe instead of Republicans drooling over every minute of footage of me in slow-mo, waiting to chop up word slips that I correct in real-tomd (sic),” she wrote, “they [should] actually step up enough to make the argument they want to make: that they don’t believe people deserve a right to healthcare.”

:)

She makes this way too easy.

It astounds me that these idiots get voted into office.  More proof of the low info voter.

What BE doesn’t grasp, she is a joke herself, as are the people that voted on her.  Put her and her voters right up there with the full time college student who won County Judge of Harris County, and her voters.  Clearly not the best candidate, just a democrat.

One of the main reasons of the American Revolution was “taxation without representation”. In many urban areas in America today, the folks that work are in the same situation.  They’re taxed but with no representation.  The representatives are being elected by folks who don’t work and pay taxes.  Perhaps it’s time to rethink our voting laws.  If you pay no taxes, you don’t get to vote.  Sounds radical, but also fair.  But alas, it’ll never happen.
