JS Posted March 28, 2007 Report Posted March 28, 2007 After tonight strong consideration has to be given to Frank Smesny. He picked up his third district win to go 7-0 for the season

SuperflySnuka Posted March 28, 2007 Report Posted March 28, 2007 Randy Musgrove - CFKirbyville, SOPHThis kid can play. Started as a true freshman. Can hit. Can run. Steals second, third, and home. Can play defense. Diving catches, great arm. He's a future college player.Every coach in the district knows about him.

homer321 Posted March 28, 2007 Report Posted March 28, 2007 Nathaniel S. has only hit 87mph one time, and is consistant at 83 84.He the future of Westbrook.
HJ-Hawks7 Posted March 28, 2007 Report Posted March 28, 2007 Josh Alfaro from HJ he pitched a good game againts BC even though we lost he only held to i think one run. And also Derrick G. of HJ he a solid hitter and a pretty good right fielder.

baseballfan4life Posted March 29, 2007 Author Report Posted March 29, 2007 How about the 2nd baseman from Lumberton. I went to Lumberton's game last night aganist Ozen. I guess he had a off night or something, but besides that one game all the other ones that i have seen him play in, he seemed pretty solid in the feild
d-boy767 Posted March 29, 2007 Report Posted March 29, 2007 n svaboda has my vote pumpin gas every outing even topping out at 87 lately!!!
TCSBalumni Posted March 29, 2007 Report Posted March 29, 2007 LCM is LOADED with some outstanding Sophmore Talent on Varsity.Tim Berry, Matt Johnson, Dallas Brown, Stefan Cloeren, Stefan Leger and Taylor Thompson, these young men have shown they can play with the best of them. The size of these guys is incredible, they range from 6'1" to 6'6" and still growing. I would be willing to bet that the 5 pitchers mentioned above all reach 90mph plus by next season. Griff and Stevenson have to be licking their chops ! There is also 2 more Huge guys throwing on JV who have great potential.Wow!!!...what are you all feeding these boys! I hope my son(s) get to be at least 6'-
WTB Posted March 29, 2007 Report Posted March 29, 2007 The sophmore 2nd basemen from Lumberton didnt start the other night against Ozen due to illness but he has been playing well this season and is a bright spot for Lumbertons future.
newkid09 Posted March 29, 2007 Report Posted March 29, 2007 Charles Odom is a very speedy little kid and ha tremendace skills at second base!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!And wade lilley is a great batter and pitcher and also a great OF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!whatever larry you dont know anything
baseball_fan04 Posted March 30, 2007 Report Posted March 30, 2007 I agree with you newkid... i have watched both of these kids play and they havent impressed me yet. The lilly boy is a lefty that throws about 60 the last time i watched him, it may throw some people off but when they pick up on it he will get hammered... and for odem he may be fast but not a lot of skill just like any other average 2nd baseman...
OldTimer Posted March 30, 2007 Report Posted March 30, 2007 Ryan Meche - Liberty- This is his 2nd year to start at Shortstop. Last year didn't hit the ball very well but this year is making solid contact. When his arm matures he will be one of the most dependable Shortstops in the area. Has solid range and makes very few errors - his only short fall at the moment he needs a little stonger arm - that will come. Next year watch out.
davidortizfan Posted March 30, 2007 Report Posted March 30, 2007 lumberton has a few.. corey lemaire at second base. he plays great defense, 3 errors in 2 years starting on varsity. tha number 11 that has been playing centerfield, could be sumthin really good if he just gets a little bit faster. he hits tha ball really well. also there are two guys on jv that could be on varsity soon that kill the ball.
baseballfan4life Posted March 30, 2007 Author Report Posted March 30, 2007 The sophmore 2nd basemen from Lumberton didnt start the other night against Ozen due to illness but he has been playing well this season and is a bright spot for Lumbertons future. Opps, sorry about that one. I guess thats maybe why he had a off night ;D
