Spartans-14
how about 24-2a.... the defending state champs, Kountze....regional finalist team who beat kountze twice, E.C....Warren, returning nearly everyone from a playoff team last year.....and deweyville's jackson moved back.....should be a very tough district. Roll_Left15
I agree 24AA will most likely turn out to be the toughest district. Kountze just keeps reloading with Devin Bre...EC has the "PHENOM"... Warren could make a run with Simms. Tough district!
t-time
If you took the teams out of 21-3A and put them in other districts, they would all meet up at the playoffs.
sportsfan07
21 3a would definately be harder then the 2a district. Because the 4 or 5 of the 3a teams are well rounded and will be good. And 2a will only have kountze and east chambers. So 21 3a definately wins.

warfan
I think you would have to say the toughest district by classification. Or which district will be the toughest to make the playoffs in. That could very well be 21AAA. 24AA I think will end up a three horse race.
stang4life
WOS needs to stick to footballActually, we would probably fare well sticking to football, basketball, and track. We may not have went to the state tourney this year, but we did make it to regionals and state last year in basketball. Not too shabby. We also have some really good track prospects. We would be bored if we "just stuck to football". Thank goodness we have more to look forward than that!!!
whsalum
If you took the teams out of 21-3A and put them in other districts, they would all meet up at the playoffs. The top 3 still meet up in the playoffs. After HJ,Silsbee,WOS and Jasper the district is pretty weak. Those 4 consistantly put good teams on the floor.I think you will see the emphasis on Jasper go back to football with the new AD.I think 21 aaa and 24aa will be 3 team races. The toughest overall will be 22aaaa.Ozen,Dayton and Central are established Ned,PNG,LCM and Lumberton are all improving with good coaches in place. They will beat each other up some next year and make for an interesting race. hj_hawk_60
it would be cool if it was set up like this... (kind of a ALL SETX district)...1. HJ2. Silsbee3. Kountze4. WOS5. Ozen6. East-Chamberscant think of who else to put in there probly some 4a and 5a teams im over-looking... sorry if i forgot someone...

hj_hawk_60
well yeah... maybe not as a district but if we had like an all SETX tournament... with these teams... would be cool to watch... if that was a district i would say it would probably be... Ozen and HJ for 1st and 2nd... then 3rd would be between Kountze, EC, and Silsbee...

LongLiveDavis
I dont know Memorial would probably run the table. Its tough for small schools to compete with that.
hj_hawk_60
oh yeah... true... but i think that HJ ,Ozen, and Kountze might give PAM a run for their money... i would say that the 3 possible playoff teams would come down to...Kountze a couple of years ago (when they wone either their 1st or 2nd state championship) (out of the last couple) they played HOUSTON MILBY who won the 5A state championship that year... going undefeated (like 38-0) and they only lost by like 12... so i think that some of these smaller schools could probably put up a good fight...
