Hagar Posted August 8, 2018 Report Posted August 8, 2018 This archeological site is in southern Turkey. First discovered in 1963, it the exposed rock was initially thought to be grave markers. In 1994 another guy starts a dig. It was much more vast than first believed, and is still only about 5% excavated. It appears to be buildings built for gatherings and feast. The strange part, some of the material found there carbon dates to 9000 BC. For those of you that aren’t aware, like me, that’s about 7000 years before the great pyramids. At this period, man was suppose to be a nomadic hunter, not a builder of big stone structures. And this was built before, (predates) pottery, metallurgy, writing, and the wheel. Saw it on What on Earth, thought I’d share. Rewrite the history books. This is the hidden content, please Sign In or Sign Up Quote
