wg88pitcher Posted March 23, 2007 Report Posted March 23, 2007 When did Serna start playing first for WB?
besbolbenbedygud Posted March 23, 2007 Report Posted March 23, 2007 This kid can play almost anywhere on the field.......They lost John Falgout (Airforce) and my guess is he gives them more senior leadership to an already stout infield.
wg88pitcher Posted March 23, 2007 Author Report Posted March 23, 2007 I guess so. In my opinion, WB has the best infield in the area by far. With Serna there, it will do nothing but get better.
wg88pitcher Posted March 23, 2007 Author Report Posted March 23, 2007 I heard something about an injury to Mark. WHen is gonna fully recover?
ABCD14 Posted March 24, 2007 Report Posted March 24, 2007 Mark Serna is not pitching right now due to an injury in the shoulder. He seems to have some pretty bad luck since he just got off ankle surgery over the fall...Although he is not throwing, his bat is still strong as ever..
kem up 10 Posted March 24, 2007 Report Posted March 24, 2007 mark can rip, and he is also a great fielder. wish the best to him and hope everything works out great in the near future.
wg88pitcher Posted March 24, 2007 Author Report Posted March 24, 2007 It is a shame he is so short. Just think what he could do with 6 more inches on him.
BarbeHS07 Posted March 25, 2007 Report Posted March 25, 2007 Mark Serna impresses crowds everygame with his wondeful fielding abilities and strong bat... due to a shoulder injuree he may not be able to pitch but with him at first this makes the westbrook infield untouchable...
wg88pitcher Posted March 26, 2007 Author Report Posted March 26, 2007 True. You also can't beat WB up the middle with Murphy at SS and Ferguson at Second. Some major league plays have been made between those two this year. Don't expect the plays to stop coming as the season goes on, B/C they are going to have a long time to make them. State Bound Brook!!!
svoboda Posted March 26, 2007 Report Posted March 26, 2007 Aren't both of these players going to Division 1 colleges next year. If I'm not mistaken, Ferguson is headed to Mississippi State and murphy to Houston. Wonder why Serna and their center fielder, Armstrong, haven't signed anywhere yet? Must be inuries.
homer321 Posted March 30, 2007 Report Posted March 30, 2007 Mark needs to start hitting for WB to have a chance in the playoffs. I expected much more from him...obviously, so did the colleges.
MIF04 Posted March 30, 2007 Report Posted March 30, 2007 You're kidding, right? The kid is hitting .450 with 3 HR and 10 2B. He also has 25 RBI. I would call that productive...
homer321 Posted March 30, 2007 Report Posted March 30, 2007 Sorry Mark. I guess i took the o for three against Memorial and ran with it. Keep up the good work. Thanks for setting me straight MIF04.
mark serna Posted March 30, 2007 Report Posted March 30, 2007 its ok man...my guess is your still a little mad about the beating i put on you earlier in two ball
worldaintready42 Posted March 30, 2007 Report Posted March 30, 2007 What are you talking about Serna? I am obviously not who you think I am...Skoota. And by the way, I'd kill you in two ball.
wg88pitcher Posted April 2, 2007 Author Report Posted April 2, 2007 look for Mark to be a huge factor in tuesday's game against channelview. He was a double away from the cycle last game and coach pulled him out, so he will want to make up for lost time.
