SETXBaseball1 Posted March 25, 2007 Report Posted March 25, 2007 There is alot of talent on the mound this year in our area. Who has the best combo?I'm going with Harrington/Flores at PNG. After 4 district games, they have given up 2 ER's combined. Maybe that's more like a 1-1 punch.Give me your thoughts.
play-ball!! Posted March 25, 2007 Report Posted March 25, 2007 yeah i gotta go wtih them and then harrington and flores goes the distance in 5 or 6 innings pretty much in all the games then they put in the closer Spikes and he shuts the door he doesnt have an earned run in district so they have the best 1-2-3 punch pitchers on the mound
cardinal81o7 Posted March 25, 2007 Report Posted March 25, 2007 stringer and hicks for relief works pretty well
wg88pitcher Posted March 25, 2007 Report Posted March 25, 2007 The Svoboda and Svoboda 1-2 punch for West brook is working really well right now.

EAGLE07 Posted March 26, 2007 Report Posted March 26, 2007 As a BH Eagle fan, I have to throw Hales and Thamm into the mix of many good combos in the area. For the season, Hales 22 IP, 39 K's, 6 walks, 0.00 ERA, 5-1 recordFor the season, Thamm 34 2/3 IP, 60 K's, 9 walks, 1.01 ERA, 4-0 recordFlores and Harrington @ PNG aren't to shabby either.
nueve Posted March 26, 2007 Report Posted March 26, 2007 In 2-A.. Hillin and Muckelroy seem pretty tough
Silsbee92 Posted March 26, 2007 Report Posted March 26, 2007 stringer and hicks for relief works pretty wellHasn't Stringer has gotten the hook kinda early the last two times he has thrown?I can't remember all the details but it seems like the freshman Hicks and BC's offense has bailed him out. Not that he is a bad pitcher but definitely not a 1-2 punch right now. I figure he will settle down and finish strong.

fball player Posted March 29, 2007 Report Posted March 29, 2007 well stringer looked very good tuesday...had 14 ks vs hj who has very decent discipline hitters..so does stringer earn his 1-2 punch status back..?
homer321 Posted March 29, 2007 Report Posted March 29, 2007 Soper and Bender are both doing a great job on WB JV lately.

baseball is my life Posted March 29, 2007 Report Posted March 29, 2007 you can't leave out Lott ,Gardiner and James of Ozen those guys can really pitch even though their team records doesnt show like everyone expected, but they still throw the ball as well as all guys listed in the topic so you have to put those guys in the making,
EAGLE07 Posted March 30, 2007 Report Posted March 30, 2007 There are several pitchers that can make this list. I'm still going w/ Hales and Thamm at BH....and Harrington and Flores @ PNG. Just my two cents.

redandblue62 Posted April 4, 2007 Report Posted April 4, 2007 Thank you robes. People are giving BC a lot of credit but after two losses, they will fall behind in the standings. BC is a strong team but they have cooled down quite a bit.
