Guest bigaggie Posted March 26, 2007 Report Posted March 26, 2007 I am writing to congratulate the WO-S players: Earl Thomas, Jacoby Franks, Andre Bevil, Adrian Mims, Justin Alexander, Dustin Locks and Darrin Gipson for playing well enough to obtain scholarships to your respective schools. As I understand it there were two other players that were offered scholarships, one to Trinity University and the other to Trinity Valley J.C. but opted to just go to school as students. That would have given them 9 players. I believe that is a tribute to the coaches as well. I know that these men send out literally hundreds of video and highlights to colleges. They make hundreds of phone calls trying to get their players opportunities to go play college football. I applaud these guys for that. They have gone as far as taking them around the state and even out of state to help them get those opportunities. That says a lot for that coaching staff. Keep it up men.
