I respect our neighbors, Kirbyville and Jasper. I can remember a few years ago when Kirbyville has a Ford running on all eight cylinders running up and down the field. Hope K-ville gets their program back on track.

out in about 2 years your looking at another 2008-2009 type team in my opinion.  Kountze better get ready to get hit in the mouth by those Bobcats 

Ok, so I went to the JV game last night just to see if Kirbyville had anything for the future and  I didn't see anything that was impressive. Newton scored whenever they wanted with the 1st group. Kirbyville couldn't move the ball at all on the 1st defense of Newton. If that was supposed to be the future then Kirbyville must have a different standard of bright than Newton does. Good luck tonight is all I can say.

I come to believe they are a baseball school at this point. I know our AD does not coach baseball he focuses on football year round. They may want to look into this. Not saying HD is a powerhouse but he’s not sidetracked 1/2 the year with another sport.
